During my 20% time i went to a website that gave me step by step on how to do a picture into sketch. I took my own picture and turned it into a sketch picture by doing it step by step. Folling the steps it helped me out to do the picture the way it was.
In the time that i have been learning about photoshop and for the time that i have been doing different things in photoshop with my pictures i have learned how to do many different kinds of stuff to pictures. Creating different things adding and putting color into them make it fun. Learning photoshop in my 20% time has been really interesting and working with adobe photoshop program that i have at home makes it easy for me to work around with the pictures i take. This picture below is one of many pictures that i have taken for my 20% time and decided to put it here as a diplay of how i changed the color of the image into a cartoon type of picture. 
Today for my 20% time i took a picture of one of my brothers cars. He wanted for me to change the color into a differnet one from its original. To edit this picture below i had to use the program Adobe Photoshop. This helps you change the backgrounds of pictures, or the color of them, and many more things. When changing the pictures color you have to put every part of the picture into different layers so the picture can be changed to the way it is wished. By doing this you can put different colro to each part of the picture into different ones. the picture below is a before and after picture of the picture that i took and photoshoped it.

Today for my 20% time i took a picture of all the differnt things that i like. I decided to put the color of the picture in black and white, and just the thing that I really like I decided to put it in just one color. When I was doing this I was using different layers to put the picture in separate colors and to not mix one color with the other. 
I learned by doing this and how the tools work for so many different things.
Today for my 20% time i edited another picture in photoshop. This time in the picture i decided to make it look like cartoon style. I had to change the color of the picture and the brightness of it. By doing this i had to get the color bucket and add the shine that i wanted it to have in order for it to look like a cartoon photo. It didnt take a lot of time for me to do this change in the picture. 
Now i learned how to add brightness into a picture and how to make it look different.
For my 20% time i decided to make something of my own. In the time that i have been learning about photoshop i wanted to make something to put my leaning to the test. With this said, the picture below is a photo that i photoshoped. I took a picture of my lil brother and decided to put in a background of “Cars”, because he loves them. I took the picture and cut it in photoshop and put in a background of the movie “Cars”. When doing this i had to use several different layouts.
Today for my 20% time I decided to go more into the basics of photoshop such as how to change backgrounds in a picture and how to cut off an image from another picture, such as this picture that is demonstrated below. I created this picture as a result from the tutorial videos I have been observing through out this period of time. Since I created this picture it has been my masterpiece as of my point of view, because its my first project I have done and it came out to be perfection. How Do you do a picture like this? Well you get the picture of the car and you go to FILE and click PLACE and the image will be there, you use the cutting scissors to cut out the car and the make a copy of it and place it into another blank page, after that you create an image such as mine i made a square and just placed two colors in the background and a solid black.
While researching more about photoshop i came across a video called Photoshop Tutorial :: Using the Extract Filter that showed me how to remove the background of a picture and change the background to a different one. When you are doing this you have to make sure that you alwasy use layers to make it easier for you and to not mix in all of the things into one. Using tools like the brush, or the history brush will help when changing the background of the picture.
Today for my 20% time i decide to take a look more into the focus of a photo. By going to Cambridge Photography . It shows you how different focus of a photo can be used and be made into a perfect photo focus. 
The focus of a photo is the most important thing this way when we look at a picture we can see it clear and not focus our eye in just one thing but look at the picture completly itself.
